LUCA IONESCU - Artist, Sydney
Luca Ionescu is internationally renowned for has branding and logo design,
working alongside major brands like Zoo York, MTV America, Nike, Etnies,
Reebok, VH1 and Stussy to name a few. In 2003 he founded Refill Magazine, a
respected niche publication for artists of all disciplines, and in 2006 he
established his own design agency Like Minded Studio. Luca has most recently
curated Refill Seven, a world first exploring the idea of lasering through 7
layers of ply on a skateboard deck. The exhibition is currently on tour
around the world.
DEBASER - Graphic Design, Sydney.
Designers David Homer and Aaron Hayward established Debaser in January 2004. They have since created some of the most memorable and iconic album artwork of the last few years for a diverse range of artists including Powderfinger, Bernard Fanning, Paul Kelly, Tim Finn, Kisschasy, Faker, End Of Fashion, Ben Folds, The Cat Empire, Paul Mac, Lior, the Living End, Butterfingers, Sarah Blasko, Something For Kate, The Beautiful Girls, Ben Lee, The Grates and the Exploders.
Debaser have won back to back Aria awards for their cover for Bernard Fanning in 2006 and Powderfinger in 2007.
BEN FROST - Artist, Sydney.
Ben Frost is a painter, who currently lives and works in Sydney, Australia. His work is bold, confronting and often controversial.
Ben's work has been exhibited in the Sydney MCA, Brisbane IMA, galleries throughout Australia as well as San Francisco, Tokyo, Canada and Europe. It is in the collections of Kerry Stokes, Art Bank, and numerous local and international locations.
Commissioned artwork include clients such as Mambo, Black + White Magazine, Shock Records, Half A Cow Records, Livid Music Festival, Blue Magazine, Virgin/EMI, Men's Style Magazine, Qld Poetry Festival, WhyBin, & the Melbourne and Sydney Fashion Festivals.
Colin Blake - MTV, Sydney
From his snowboarding and skateboarding roots growing up in Canada, Colin became involved in sponsorship, events and media production through his position as Canadian National Snowboard Team Coach. From there he entered the world of youth branding and marketing, and has worked across a diverse set of international brands including Nike, Coca-Cola, and General Pants Group. Colin currently works as Director of Marketing, Communications and Talent for MTV Australia and NZ.
